Audio transcription rates

Our rate for typing work is simple: we charge based on the duration of the dictated file(s), known as ‘per audio minute’ (PAM), e.g. 60 mins x PAM rate = £total cost. There are no hidden costs and no VAT added.

Because we receive a diverse range of projects from a wide variety of clients, it’s not possible to give an estimate or exact rates until we chat further to obtain more information. Prices vary depending on recording quality of the files, the subject matter, and the difficulty of any templates you provide us to work with. We would be happy to discuss your requirements in more detail with you to provide a quote.

Due to the simple PAM charging structure, you can easily work out the cost of the finished job before work begins.

All other service rates (i.e. Virtual Assistant, Copy Typing and Data Analysis and Reporting rates)

For both our Virtual PA and copy typing tasks, we charge an affordable set per hour rate. Included in the price, you’ll receive a fully proofread, researched, and professionally finished piece of work each and every time.

For data analysis and reporting, everyone’s needs are different and we can provide you with a tailored package to suit your needs. 

Again, there are no hidden costs and we don’t charge VAT.

Timescales 

Transcription – As above, with any transcription projects, because we receive a vast array of work from a diverse range of clients it is only possible to provide estimates once we know more information.

Single speaker audio dictation – most short reports, correspondence, and transcripts of up to 30 mins’ duration will likely be returned within 24-72 hours. We respect your deadlines and will aim to work with you on returning the files for when they’re needed; however, please bear in mind longer recordings or poor quality audio files can take longer to transcribe. We can advise on turnaround for each job.

Formally qualified to carry out editing and proofreading, we thoroughly examine and quality check all documents, and return your work to the highest standard, saving you time and money. All company, place, and person names are researched, as well as acronyms, terms and phrases, to ensure these are spelled correctly throughout.
