3. File transfers and service delivery

Our website does not accept file uploads for transcription or typing services.

Client files are exchanged using secure third-party platforms selected by us, including dedicated transcription workflow systems, secure file transfer services, or email. Where files are downloaded locally for processing, they are stored only on secure, encrypted devices in accordance with our data protection procedures.

We are unable to access or work within clients’ internal systems, portals, or proprietary platforms. Where cloud-based storage is used, this is either via platforms selected by us or through limited access to a client’s own cloud storage account for the sole purpose of retrieving or returning files.

Client data is accessed only for the purpose of delivering the agreed services and is handled in accordance with this Privacy Policy. In providing transcription and typing services, we may act as a data processor on behalf of our clients and, where required, enter into a Data Processing Agreement in accordance with Article 28 of the UK GDPR.

In the course of providing our services and operating our business, we may use reputable third-party tools for:

We do not accept payments for transcription services directly through this website. Service invoices are issued separately and paid by bank transfer.

Payments for digital products purchased via this website are processed by third-party payment providers. We do not store payment card details.

We are based in the United Kingdom and primarily process data within the UK.

Where third-party services process data outside the UK, appropriate safeguards are relied upon in accordance with UK GDPR.

  • Audio files are removed from local systems within 48 hours and retained within workflow systems for a limited period (currently up to 72 days) before deletion

  • Transcripts are removed from local systems within 48 hours of completion unless otherwise agreed

  • Marketing data is retained until you unsubscribe or request deletion

  • Recruitment data is retained only where relevant to future opportunities


8. Quality assurance and training

In limited circumstances, anonymised excerpts of completed work may be retained for internal quality assurance or training purposes. Any such material is carefully reviewed to ensure that individuals cannot be identified and that no sensitive personal data is retained.
